Characteristics of endodontics
with microscope
Thanks to microscopic endodontics, we can perform work with the utmost precision and safety, achieving extremely accurate, safe and fast results.
Precise
It facilitates the diagnosis of diseases affecting the root of the tooth, and avoids many diagnostic errors.
Tooth preservation
The highest degree of tissue preservation of the tooth is guaranteed, removing only irritants and diseased tissue.
Speed of treatment
The duration of the procedure is reduced, which is a great advantage for the patient’s comfort and the overall cost of treatment.
Endodontics with microscope
Microscopic endodontics facilitates the diagnosis of diseases affecting the root of the tooth, and avoids many of the diagnostic errors that lead to the failure of many traditional endodontic procedures. Moreover, it greatly increases the effectiveness of treatments and interventions performed by the dentist. The use of the clinical microscope in conjunction with rotary instruments allows the dentist to achieve a remarkable level of precision in this type of intervention, which guarantees fully satisfactory results for both the dentist and the patient.
Thanks to microendodontics, the duration of the procedure is significantly reduced, usually to a single session, which is a great advantage for the patient’s comfort and the overall cost of the treatment.

When is endodontics needed?
When the pulp of a tooth is irreversibly affected by deep caries, trauma or endoperiodontal lesions, it is usually advisable. Pain may be intermittent or constant. Even the affected tooth may change colour or a phlegmon or fistula may develop. Therefore, when a person has prolonged and/or intense pain or tooth sensitivity with hot or cold food, when chewing or to the touch, he/she should consult his/her dentist. In addition, if a tooth changes colour or if the gum surrounding the tooth becomes inflamed or a discharge appears, the dentist should be consulted.
However, there are cases where there are no symptoms and the disease is discovered during an oral check-up, through clinical examination and/or the use of X-rays, which is why it is important to visit the dentist regularly.

The importance of your smile
At Clínica Torres we have more than 30 years of experience in dentistry. Always in constant evolution, we have developed the best techniques in dental endodontics.
The importance of endodontics lies in the fact that it aims to save and preserve a diseased or damaged tooth in the patient’s mouth, whether due to caries, wear or trauma. It includes, therefore, all those treatments that try to avoid the extraction of the tooth and the subsequent placement of an implant.
At Clínica Torres we are characterised by our personalised treatment for each of our patients, always taking into account their needs and therefore each of our treatments are adapted to each person who comes to our clinic in search of the perfect smile.
