We have also developed conscious sedation, which consists of administering a mixture of Oxygen and Nitrogen Protoxide (also known as laughing gas) through a nasal mask. Thanks to this treatment, a state of comfort is achieved, but without the patient losing contact with the environment. It is therefore indicated for short procedures to improve the patient’s state of well-being and level of cooperation.
