We have also developed conscious sedation which consists of the administration, through a nasal mask, of a mixture of Oxygen and Nitrogen Protoxide (also known as laughing gas). Thanks to this treatment, a state of comfort is achieved, but without the patient losing contact with the environment. It is therefore indicated for short procedures to improve the patient’s state of well-being and level of cooperation.
